Within the ad locator, all Megaphone publishers can now edit the audio segment to either remove a portion of the audio or replace an existing segment with a dynamic ad. This feature is readily available in your Megaphone account and no longer needs to be enabled.
"Remove" segments let you exclude audio segments from distribution without re-editing or re-uploading your episode.
"Replace" segments substitute audio segments with ad markers for dynamic ad insertion. This is an easy way to replace “baked-in” ads in your episodes with dynamic ad locations without re-uploading the audio file.
In Ad Locator, you can now add pre-roll, mid-roll, or post-rolls to your episodes and toggle between "Replace" and "Remove" via the “Type” dropdown menu in the table.
