See below for step-by-step instructions.

The Megaphone Embeddable Player allows you to quickly and easily add your podcasts to a webpage where the audio can be accessed from almost any browser  (desktop, tablet, or mobile). This can either be viewed in a playlist styled version (which this article will describe) or a single episode player version (see this article for more information).

Our players are iFrames which can be embedded by the website manager, who can copy the HTML code from Megaphone and paste it into the destination page's HTML.

1) Find the Embeddable Player for your podcast

Navigate to the Podcasts tab on the left sidebar, then select your podcast.

Once on the podcast page, you will see a purple button that says "Embed Podcast" in the top right corner. Click this button to open the playlist iFrame builder.

2) Select Embeddable player options

A modal will appear where you have the option to customize the player by disabling sharing (listeners cannot share the episode via the player), disabling the artwork and selecting a light theme (default is dark theme). The player displays the latest 10 episodes in a scrollable list, with a “Load more” button at the bottom which can be clicked to fetch the next 10

Note that the artwork for the player is based on episode level artwork (if it has been added). Otherwise, it will default to the podcast level artwork. If you only want podcast level artwork from each individual episode’s settings.

3) Copy the Embed code

Our Embed Codes are iFrames that need to be embedded by the website manager, who can copy this code into each page's HTML. You can close the embeddable player pop up once you've copied the Embed Code.

4) Set up Subscription Options for the Embeddable Player

You can add Subscription Options in the embeddable player that will allow people to click through and find your show in Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Stitcher or Google Podcasts. Follow the instructions here!
