Podtrac is an independent source for tracking the downloads of your podcasts. In order to utilize this audience measurement tool, you first need to have an account setup with Podtrac. You can find out more about that process by visiting their website at:

Once you have setup an account with Podtrac, you will be asked to add a prefix to the enclosure URLs in your RSS feeds. To do this, log into Megaphone and navigate to your podcast through the Podcasts tab. Click into your show, and select the "Settings" button in the top right corner:

On the following page, click the "Megaphone Settings" and scroll down to the "Feed Prefixes" section. Toggle on the tab under "Podtrac" to enable Podtrac:

After you've checked the Podtrac box, click Save and your RSS feed will now be eligible to track with Podtrac. Please note that any discrepancies or issues with the Podtrac service must go through their support team.
