Starting April 15, 2026, we’re introducing two new guaranteed campaign types: Priority and Standard. Both offer guaranteed delivery, but they differ in how they prioritize delivery and what options are available at setup.
Note: The old "Campaign" type will be removed on July 15, 2026. Any campaigns booked using the old type will not deliver after July 14.
Comparison: Priority vs. Standard
Type | Priority | Standard |
Delivery order | Delivers first | Delivers after Priority campaigns |
Delivery type | Guaranteed | Guaranteed |
Impression cap | Not available | Available |
Pacing options | Not available | ASAP, Even, Front-loaded |
Best for | Accelerated, first-look, or episode-exclusive campaigns | Fixed impression, even-paced, or run-of-network campaigns |
How priority is determined
Priority is no longer set at the order level. Instead, it is determined by which campaign type you select; Priority or Standard. If eligible, orders within a priority campaign will be given an opportunity to deliver before any orders within a standard campaign.
What both campaign types share
Guaranteed delivery with fixed CPM
Support for audio and video ad formats
Geotargeting will be optional at the order level
Content targeting (one category at a time, up to 500 selections)
Audience targeting via Spotify first-party data
Up to 7 ad locations (1 pre, up to 5 mid, 1 post)
Ad position targeting (Pre, Mid, Post; slot-level targeting within Mid)
Competitive separation at the ad break level
