See below for step-by-step instructions.

The Megaphone Embeddable Player allows you to quickly and easily upload your podcasts to a webpage where the audio can be accessed from almost any browser  (desktop, tablet, or mobile). This can either be used as a single episode version (which this article will describe) or a playlist version (see this article for more information).

Our players are iFrames that need to be embedded by the website manager, who can copy the code into each page's HTML.

1) Find the Embeddable Player for any Episode.

You can find the embeddable player by clicking on the quick link that you’ll find by going to the Podcast tab, selecting your show, and looking at the "Actions" column for your published episodes.

Clicking on the link will show you a sample version of the player:

2) Select Embeddable Player options.

You have the option to customize the player by disabling sharing (listeners cannot share the episode via the player), disabling the artwork and selecting a light theme (default is dark theme). You can also have the player start at a specific time.

If you would like to only embed one player that automatically updates with new episodes, reach out via Live Chat and we can provide you an auto-updating embed code.

3) Copy the embed code.

The embed code is a simple iframe. Most developers/webmasters should be able to easily add this to your website. You can close the embeddable player pop up once you've copied the embed code.

Example of embed code that you can use for testing:

<iframe frameborder="no" height="200" scrolling="no" src="https://player.megaphone.fm/DEM1119155060?" width="100%"></iframe>

4) Set up Subscription Options for the Embeddable Player.

You can add Subscription Options in the Embeddable Player that will allow people to click through and find your show in Spotify, Apple Podcasts or Google Podcasts. Follow the instructions here!
