Note: Only Network Admins and Organization Admins have permission to invite new users to Megaphone.
If you are looking to upgrade or change a user role, contact our Support Team via chat and we can complete this request with the approval of an Organization Admin.
1) To add users, click "Users" in the left sidebar and then select "Invite User"
2) Enter details and choose the Role
A modal will appear where you must input the User details and select the "Role". There are a variety of user types available that you will see in the "Role" dropdown.
Organization Admins have full access within organizations in Megaphone. This includes updating organizational settings, creating new networks, inviting other users, as well as the ability to create/edit/delete podcasts, campaigns, promos, and advertising agencies.
Ad Ops Managers have full access within organizations in Megaphone. This includes updating organizational settings and creating new networks, as well as the ability to create/edit/delete podcasts, campaigns, promos, and advertising agencies. Ad Ops Managers also have access to additional reporting relating to impression delivery and revenue reports.
Campaign Managers have the ability to manage campaigns throughout all Networks of an Organization.
Campaign Viewers can access impression metrics of Networks to which they are assigned.
Network Ad Ops Managers have the ability to create/edit/delete podcasts, campaigns, orders and promos for all campaigns in their Network. Network Ad Ops Managers also have access to additional reporting relating to impression delivery and revenue reports.
Network Ad Ops have the ability ability to create/edit/delete podcasts, campaigns, orders and promos for the Networks they are assigned to.
Network Admins have full access within assigned networks of podcasts. This includes the ability to invite other users and to create/edit/delete podcasts and promos, but does not include access to campaign or advertising functions.
Network Partners have read-only capabilities within podcasts and inventory. These users have the ability to access metrics and reporting within assigned networks.
Producers are the most common user type in Megaphone. Producers are granted access to specific, assigned podcasts and has permission to publish new episodes and to edit the podcast information and settings.
Contributors are similar to producers in that this user has access to specific, assigned podcasts and has permission to publish new episodes, but is unable to edit the podcast’s information or settings.
Podcast Viewers can view and manage the podcasts they are assigned to.
Sales Planners have read-only capabilities within podcasts and inventory. These users have the ability to access metrics and reporting within assigned networks as well as full access to create/edit/delete advertising agencies.
Sound Engineers can manage the podcast and promo audio for podcasts they are assigned to.
Ups Network Ad Ops Managers can view and manage campaigns and podcasts to which they are assigned.
3) After entering the necessary details, click "Invite" to add the user
4) If adding a user that requires assignments, click "+Assign" to select the Network/Shows that the user should have access to

5) Select "Save" and "Invite"
The user will receive an email with info on how to log in. If you need to change a users' access, please reach out to Live Chat and we can adjust a users' access as needed.
